Waiting To Record Your Favorite Song
Before the days of pretending to be computer hackers stealing our favorite songs on the internet, we spent the weekends keeping a close ear on the radio with a cassette tape loaded and ready in the deck. We waited with our finger on the record button, hoping to get the perfect recording and praying it wasn’t interrupted by the radio DJ.
Nowadays, the radio is more like background noise that occasionally gives us a new earworm to remember to catch up on later. With the internet, nearly any song we want is at our fingertips, freeing up our weekends to focus on the important stuff like Netflix binges and social media sleuthing.
