Tate and Gender Equality
It isn’t too hard to see that Tate doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to talking about women and men equally. Andrew Tate is a firm believer that men and women are, in fact, not equal and should adhere to their societal prerequisites. In the past, Tate has actively claimed that he would only give his “Time of day” to a specific kind of woman in an effort to not be undermined.
Andrew Tate sees protecting women as his “masculine imperative,”… But what do women need protection from? If anything, women need protection from hyper-intense toxic masculinity that actively makes women less safe in the world, which is exactly the kind of ideology Tate stands for. The idea that Tate would refuse a woman paying for the bill reminds us of this quote by Margaret Atwood, “Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.”
