Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes
TLC was among the most successful girl groups in the ’90s, thanks to their catchy R&B tunes. Songs like “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs” topped the charts in the U.S., with their first three albums selling a combined 40 million copies worldwide. The band was forced to take an extended hiatus after one of its members passed away.
Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes tragically died in 2002 after a car accident in Honduras that was caught on camera for a documentary. In this screengrab, taken from the video footage, she is seen driving mere moments before the crash.
