The Kids Pitch In
With Chris gone at work all day, Amanda could use a few extra pairs of hands to help take care of the kids. Fortunately, she has done a fantastic job teaching the children to be self-sufficient. One of the most helpful qualities is that they’ve learned to be independent, so they don’t need to rely on her to do everything for them.
Aside from doing their daily chores, Amanda’s kids can make their own breakfasts and lunches. For example, it isn’t unusual for them to put in a load of laundry and then make themselves a peanut butter sandwich. It also helps that the kids get along with each other well, so she isn’t spending much of her time refereeing sibling fights.
