Attention Potterheads! This article is for you! When someone on the Internet asked an Artificial Intelligence bot to draw some of the most iconic characters from the Harry Potter series based on their descriptions as written by J.K Rowling, they shared the results! Some characters were drawn as if they were the sketches of the actors who played them on the silver screen, while others looked like they were worlds apart. Exact replicas or not, one thing is pretty sure; this catalog of A.I.-drawn Harry Potter characters is fun to look through and awe-inspiring. Read it till the end and let us know which one's your favorite; ours are Harry, Voldemort, and Dolores Umbridge!

Harry Potter

How can we begin this list without featuring the lead protagonist of the Harry Potter series? Played by Daniel Radcliffe in the movies, for us, he was the best Harry the fandom could've asked for!

As described in the books, Harry had his father's untidy jet-black hair and his mother's emerald green eyes, which are mentioned frequently. Also, the scar that got him the title "the boy who lived." His physique is petite and frail for his age, according to Rowling.

Hermione Granger

The role that made Emma Watson the crush on an entire fandom, Hermione Granger, was one of the closest friends of Harry Potter. She is an intelligent girl who believes in the perfectionism of theory and always strives to learn.

J.K Rowling described Hermione as a girl with bushy brown hair and brown eyes. Another notable facial feature was her front teeth, described as "too large for her face." While Emma made Hermione look "too pretty," fans said the original Hermione wasn't supposed to be.

Ron Weasley

Harry's other best friend, Ron Weasley, is the perfect example of "the guy who is generous despite not having much." Ron lets Harry in on everything about the world of magic since he didn't have the privilege of learning all this growing up.

Ron was described as a tall and thin boy with a clumsy posture. He has the signature freckles on his face and messy red hair. Played by Rupert Grint, despite not having the exact physical features, his acting was undeniably impressive.

Draco Malfoy

Not every antagonist is evil, and Draco Malfoy's character is the perfect example. Even someone who seems to have sided with the wrong side can have a heart full of kindness and empathy. Tom Felton breathed the character to life.

The novels described Draco Malfoy as a pale-complexioned boy with grey eyes. He had a slender physique and sharp features, fit for the bully who came from money. Probably the first nemesis Harry found at Hogwarts, Draco had a temper and attitude.

Ginny Weasley

Ron's younger sister, Ginny Weasley, becomes Harry's girlfriend in the second half of the story. The one thing that has amazed us the most is how accurately the Artificially generated version of Ginny resembles Bonnie Wright.

The only thing a little 'off' about the actress in the movies is that she has blue eyes, unlike the original Ginny, who had brown eyes. The freckles and reddish hair are similar to how they were described in the novels and the movies.

Neville Longbottom

Neville Longbottom, one of the most important and influential characters in the Harry Potter cast, was the wizard who destroyed Voldemort's final Horcrux, which enabled Harry to end his tyranny of fear.

In the novels, Neville is a plump blonde boy with a round face. Played by Matthew Lewis in the movies, fans mentioned how he looked nothing like the Neville described in the books. This AI-Generated version looks much more like how J.K Rowling described him.

Cho Chang

Harry's first girlfriend in the series, Cho, was a beautiful young girl played by Katie Leung in the films. Quite popular amongst the boys of Hogwarts, we wonder if Harry felt insecure since so many guys had a crush on her.

The Harry Potter novels describe Cho as a pleasant-aura, sunshine girl who was both pretty and well-mannered. She was mentioned to be friendly and full of positivity and sweetness, which probably made Harry fall for her harder than he expected.

Vernon Dursely

Vernon Dursley, the infamous 'evil' uncle of Harry, was famous for his rude behavior towards Harry and his large belly. He did everything he could to keep Harry from discovering his talent for magic. Richard Griffith played the role of "Evil Uncle Vernon."

The book described Vernon as a huge man whose neck was still a mystery. The AI version depicted his purple face with dark hair, a bushy mustache, and small eyes. We can safely say Griffith nailed the role.

Petunia Dursley

Petunia was the second in charge of the abusive Dursley household and the first one from Lily's family who noticed this weird quirk of his sister and her family members that made them 'fly things' and do 'weird things.'

In the movies, however, Fiona Shaw was unlike the character expected based on J.K Rowling's description. The book described her as blonde-haired (Fiona had black hair) and with a thin frame with a neck so long that it almost compensated for her husband's.

Dudley Dursley

The spoiled child of the Dursley household, Dudley Dursley, is the perfect representation of a child who is so annoying that the first thing you want to do when you meet them is to "teach them some manners."

Harry Melling played him in the movie and did an amazing job getting into the character. His round physique and clear eyes were as per Rowling's descriptions, but his hair color was the only little off.

Cedric Diggory

One of the most beloved characters in the Harry Potter novels, Cedric was an essential character in Rowling's fourth book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He was one of the participants chosen to represent Hogwarts at the Triwizard Tournament.

In the books, Hogwarts prefect and Hufflepuff's Quidditch captain Cedric Diggory was described as handsome with sharp features and a tall and athletic physique. Despite Robert Pattison's best attempts to be the perfect Diggory, his hair color wasn't true to the book.

Sirius Black

One of the closest people to Harry, Sirius Black was James and Lily's good friend and decided to escape Azkaban to look after Harry and help him in his mission to get rid of Lord Voldemort once and for all.

Played by Gary Oldman, Sirius easily became one of the most loved characters of the series. His appearance was shabby and blunt after he escaped Azkaban. Fans even complained that Oldman's Sirius didn't look as 'shabby' as it should have.

Luna Lovegood

In J.K Rowling's books, Luna Lovegood is described as a character who is always up for an adventure and has huge dreamy eyes that want to go out and explore the mysteries of the world.

Evanna Lynch played the character of Luna Lovegood. She is practically the epitome of Rowling's Luna. All the features that she penned down screamed Lynch's name. With waist-length blonde hair, pale eyebrows, and huge & dreamy eyes, Lynch had it all!

Bill Weasley

The eldest child of Arthur and Molly Weasley, Bill is an important part of the large Weasley family. He is probably the only Weasley mentioned to have a ponytail that kept all his Weasley-red hair styled.

Played by Domhnall Gleeson, the character didn't get much screen time and only appeared in the later section. His facial characteristics were very similar to what you'd expect from the eldest son of the Weasleys, and this AI version looks very similar to Gleeson!

Fleur Delacour

Fleur Delacour was an undeniably notable character in the Triwizard Tournament Saga. She is a charming character from the French wizarding academy, Beauxbatons Academy. Despite the little screen time in the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire part, she made her character known.

Clémence Poésy played the role of Fleur, and we must admit that she left no stone unturned to mimic Rowling's version that described her with golden hair, large blue eyes, and a figure that makes heads turn.

James Potter

Harry's father, James Potter, had a friendly and harmless look for a school bully. It is tough to imagine that someone with as friendly an appearance as James could become a bully as he did to Severus Snape in their schooldays.

Rowling described his eyes as brownish, covered by glasses, and messy black hair. Although not very similar to how the James portrayed by Adrian Rawlin looks, this AI-generated version is how Rowling would describe him.

Lily Potter

Harry's mother, Lily Potter, is a very important character whose eyes are brought up every time Harry meets someone for the first time. Loved unconditionally by Severus even after her death, she must've been too beautiful and charming.

The role was brought to life by actress Geraldine Somerville. The attractive looks and bright green eyes that everyone noticed were very beautifully owned by the actress, and this AI-generated version looks more like a younger adaptation of herself.

Severus Snape

This character gave us the most jaw-dropping plot twist of the entire series. As much as everyone hated Severus Snape in the beginning, they couldn't help but cry when the actual truth was revealed after Nagini killed him.

Played by Alan Rickman, we don't think there would've been a better choice for Snape's character in the movies. Snape had a distinctively large nose, sallow skin, yellow teeth, and draping, greasy, black hair that hid his cold, black eyes.

Fred and George Weasley

The infamous Weasley twins, known for their shenanigans and playful nature, were older than Ron and Ginny. If there was trouble in the Hogwarts ground, you could've bet it was at least one of the twins.

The twins were played by a pair of real-life twins named James and Oliver Phelps. Each of the twins had those characteristic freckles on their skin and red hair, the trademark of the Weasley blood. This AI version got Rowling's description perfectly.

Viktor Krum

Viktor Krum, the star of the Triwizard Competition in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, reserved a separate fan base with an appearance in just one movie. One of the most athletic and tough competitors in the Tournament, Krum was a tough one!

Stanislav Ianevski played Viktor Krum. However, as intimidating as he might've been with his performance in the tournament, the books mentioned a dark-eyed Bulgarian student with a tall and lean build along with a curved nose.

Pansy Parkinson

Pansy was one of those "Who's that pretty girl?" characters in the movie who had very little screen time, so you might not even recognize the name from the movies or the books. As described by Harry, Pansy had a "pug-like face."

While this AI-Generated image is the perfect encapsulation of how Pansy should've looked in the movies, we don't understand what the casting team had in mind while selecting Scarlett Byrne for the role.

Remus Lupin

Nicknamed 'Moony', Remus Lupin was one of the most beloved professors from Hogwarts. The most notable feature of the character is his ability to turn into a werewolf. This AI-Generated version looks more like the "shabby-looking" Lupin Rowling expected from David Thewlis in the movies.

The kindness in his personality was visible on his face. He was tall and had hazel eyes and was shown to have brown hair during his initial appearances, but it gradually got gray over time.

Nymphadora Tonks

Nymphadora Tonks is a talented and quirky witch in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. She is known for her Metamorphmagus abilities, allowing her to change her appearance. Her natural hair color is bubblegum pink, but she often experiments with different colors, including violet.

Despite the charming portrayal of Tonks in an AI-generated image, actress Natalia Tena's appearance differs greatly from the character's depiction. Rather than having short, spiky hair and dark, sparkling eyes, Tena flaunts a shoulder-length hairstyle and retains her green eyes.

Charlie Weasley

While his appearances in the series are brief, Charlie's character shines, making him a beloved and memorable figure in the Harry Potter universe. He was particularly famous for his love of Dragons as he worked in Romania to look after and study them.

Rowling described him as particularly passionate because of his commitment to studying dragons. Although for a brief appearance, the character was played by Alex Crockford, and he looks fairly similar to this AI-Generated version of Charlie.

Lucius Malfoy

As despicable and evil as Lucius Malfoy is in the Harry Potter universe, it is interesting how there hasn't been a detailed mention of his character's appearance in any of the books.

Played by Jason Isaacs, Lucius had platinum hair past his shoulder, a pale face with grayish eyes, and of course, the evil sinister look on his face. He was an apprentice to Voldemort and took pride in being a pure-blooded wizard.

Narcissa Malfoy

Draco Malfoy's mother, Narcissa, although sided with Lord Voldemort and maintained that stern, evil Malfoy look in front of everybody else, seemed very concerned about where their family was headed, especially her son, Draco's future.

In her books, J.K. Rowling described Narcissa's hair as a blondish shade. However, the actress who played her in the movie, Helen McCrory, had a two-tone shade. She also had pale white skin like that of the rest of the Malfoys, along with grey eyes.

Gilderoy Lockhart

Too consumed by his success, Gilderoy Lockhart wasn't even at the bottom of the list of the most likable characters in the Harry Potter Universe. Despite his handsome face, he was arrogant and had a sense of entitlement.

Kenneth Branagh portrayed Lockhart in the films. As described in the books, Branagh successfully depicted the sound facial features, crowned with blonde hair and a heart-winning smile. It would be more on point if this AI-Generated version looked a little older.

Minerva McGonagall

Every school needs that strict professor who makes sure nobody dares cross their limits with them in terms of discipline, even a magical school like Hogwarts, which had Professor McGonagall for this role.

J.K Rowling described McGonagall as a neat, strict-looking woman who always had her hair tucked back in a tight bun. Despite her old and frail looks in the movies, doubting her skills would be foolish. Nobody fit this role better than Maggie Smith.

Argus Filch

The classic scary caretaker of mansions or huge buildings, Argus Filch was the person appointed as the caretaker of Hogwarts. He made sure the students didn't involve themselves in any mischief or shenanigans that could turn deadly.

Hogwarts saw Filch as a bitter old man with a cruel look on his face at all times. He had pale skin with a thin frame, long hair, and a bald spot on the top. In the movies, actor David Bradley plays Filch.

Dolores Umbridge

We know you just got a jumpscare because of this horrifying image that just popped up. This is just the AI's perception of Dolores Umbridge, the character who probably has the most haters out of all the characters in the Harry Potter Universe.

Imelda Staunton did such a good job of bringing this character to life! As Rowling described in her books, Umbridge had a toad-like appearance with a little neck and large eyes. However, this scary AI-generated version is poles apart from the pretty woman Staunton is.

Bellatrix Lestrange

We know that Bellatrix was supposed to be one of the evilest characters in the series, but we think we speak for everyone when we say that Helena Bonham Carter made her look pretty.

According to Rowling's description of Bellatrix Lestrange, she was a tall woman with "heavy-lidded eyes" perched upon her tiny nose. Despite her evil heart, her facial features were surprisingly attractive. Does this AI-generated version look more "Bellatrix-y"? We'd vouch for Helena's impression of Bellatrix here.

Peter Pettigrew

One of the most hideous characters, Peter Pettigrew was far from what anybody would consider good-looking. Even when he blew up his disguise as Ron's pet rat and came to his human form, he looked like he retained some rat-like facial features.

Timothy Spall did a brilliant job of acting out the character, winning admiration despite not being the most charming. However, this AI-Generated version of Pettigrew looks more accurate to Rowling's descriptions than how Spall portrayed him.

Merope Riddle

If you've only watched the movies, the character of Merope Riddle is probably alien to you. However, this character gave birth to the wizard who established a reign of terror in the wizarding world and became the most feared character.

The character did not appear in any of the movies, so we could only imagine what she'd look like based on Rowling. She said she was an unattractive woman with a pale and chubby face. Her eyes looked in different directions too.

Tom Riddle

The boy whose handsome face masked his ugly intentions, Tom Riddle was the making of Lord Voldemort. As ugly as Lord Voldemort had become by the time he had divided his soul into all the Horcruxes, Tom Riddle was the opposite regarding his looks.

True to Rowling's description of Tom Riddle in her books, Christian Coulson did an excellent job of infusing his attractive facial features with a sinister intention. The books mentioned a pale skin boy with jet-black hair and a charming look that'd win over anyone.

Lord Voldemort

And finally, the main antagonist of the series, he-who-must-not-be-named, Lord Voldemort! The most dangerous wizard who lacks looks, empathy, or any emotion besides hatred. Ralph Fiennes played Lord Voldemort in the films and looks so similar to this AI-Generated version.

J.K Rowling described his appearance as "Skeletally-thin" with a face as pale as a skull and a nose as flat as a snake's. His eyes turned red out of the pure evil in his soul. This depiction is pretty spot on.
