Sleeping at work
We’ve all fallen asleep (or almost fallen asleep) at work, felt our eyelids droop, and shaken ourselves awake to get on with the day. Well the Japanese have a word for it: Inemuri.
They don’t see it as being lazy, but as benign diligent and hardworking. Sleeping at your desk for a short period means that, once you awake, you’re more productive, which is great for you and for your business.
