Virtual Camp For Kids to Sing Like Broadway Stars

September 15, 2020 by Kristen Reed

A new virtual camp for kids to sing like Broadway Stars has launched to help kids who are missing out on in real life camp experiences. This fabulous option for your little musicians will help encourage a love of music and give your kids something fun to do during these current times.

This virtual camp is a fabulous way to introduce your kids to a new way to show off their acting and singing abilities. This camp is open for all but perhaps is most important for those kids who missed out on play performances this past school year due to school shutdowns.

This opportunity is called Broadway From Home and you can sign up for classes or a workshop by visiting their website. If your kids are interested in singing but are a little camera-shy, you can read the getting prepared area of this website and try to see if you can’t get your shy kid ready to sing some of their favorite Broadway songs with other kids in a virtual setting.

 All About Broadway From Home

We’re sure you’re wondering how your kids can sign up and participate in this virtual camp for kids to sing with Broadway Stars. Below we’ll discuss more about this virtual camp and how your kids can get started singing their favorite Broadway songs from home with other students.

6 Week Musical

Kids that are 7 years old to 18 years old can sign up for one of two programs. “6 Week Musical” is one of the classes that your kids’ ages 7-18 may join. This allows your kids to learn the ins and outs of a specific musical. This virtual camp program meets twice a week in the evenings. Once the 6 week course is done, your kids will show off what they’ve learned during a Livestream event.

Teen Training Program

Kids that are 13 years old to 18 years old can sign up for the Teen Training Program. This program meets three evenings per week in a virtual setting. This program with Broadway From Home allows your teens to learn more about movement, acting, and voice. This second course is a wonderful way to solidify your kids’ virtual Broadway experience by allowing them to start with the basics in the 6 Week Musical course and move into this teen training program.

A La Carte Classes

Lastly, Broadway From Home does offer some one-time courses that focus on animation, voice, Broadway dance, cartoon voice-overs, and similar topics. These classes will help your kids focus on a specific area of the performing arts industry so that they can master the skills necessary to go into an industry that fuels their soul.

The teen training program places a focus on teenagers who may want to go into the performing arts industry. Broadway From Home wanted to allow kids of all ages to experience music and enhance their abilities to continue mastering their acting and singing skills during these current times.
