Paying tribute
If I was an animator then I’d probably put myself, or versions of me in every single movie I was involved with, but in the film The Incredibles, the animators took a different approach.
Once the battle at the end of the film is won by the Incredible family, the inhabitants of the city congratulate them (something the superheroes haven’t been used to for a while). Amongst the crowd are two elderly men, watching the spectacle. They’re actually Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas, two of the visionaries who animated Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. What a tribute.
