Too much air!
Everyone knows that snack bags contain more air than snacks, and it’s only once in a millennium that a person gets a bag of chips that is actually packed with their salty snack of choice. We know that the nitrogen inside of the bag serves to keep the chips fresh and prevent them from breaking, but we’d rather have more chip fragments and less air.
To prove that the disproportion of snacks to air, these two students from Korea purchased a ton of them, placed them inside of plastic bags, and made a raft that not only stayed afloat but supported the combined weight of both students. They also proved that potato chips are excellent items to have during an emergency.
