Patterns Make a Big Difference
People often think of patterns as rows in a garden, but you can do so much more than that with pops of color and pathway placement. The lattice work pavers, painted wall, and carefully placed stepables all lend a chaotic yet pleasing aesthetic due to the patterning.
Be sure that you don’t let the patterns become too stiff. That small bit of chaos in the middle brings that wild garden feel even though it’s carefully curated with colors, textures, and placement. You don’t even have to be this fancy. You can get the same effect in a much smaller area.
