#19: Pattern Baldness
Male pattern baldness is a hereditary trait primarily influenced by genetics passed down through the female lineage. This means that if your mom’s father or grandfather experienced baldness, you are also more likely to be susceptible to it. Male pattern baldness is often associated with the inheritance of dominant genes related to hair loss.

However, not all hope is lost! It’s important to note that not all individuals who carry these genes will experience baldness at a young age or even at all. Some men may inherit a recessive form of the gene, which can delay or mitigate the onset of baldness. So, while balding tends to run in families, individual experiences with male pattern baldness can vary widely, and genetic and environmental factors influence the age at which it occurs.
