This Reddit user is right. Once your meal is done, it can taste a little bland. Salt is a great way to fix it up, but it’s not the only option, and it’s not even the best option! Lemon, vinegar, pepper, and fresh herbs go a long way to giving your dish that wow you were looking for.
Adding acidity to meals brings out other flavors, and nearly everyone has an extra lemon or seven on hand. Be careful when using different types of vinegar, though. They can quickly overpower your other flavors. There are also so many different kinds of vinegar; you’ll want to be sure you’re using the right one for your meal!
