Classic Black and White
Catherine Walker is a favorite of Kate’s when it comes to coatdresses, and we can all see why. In June 2019, the duchess wore a black and white Catherine Walker coatdress to the Order of the Garter also known as Order of Chivalry. For those who don’t know what this is, it is the most senior system of knighthood.
She topped the look with a black hat which matched the black piping around the collar and sides of the dress. Simple pearl earrings and black pumps completed the look. It was a classic look for such a prestigious event because we know Kate always dresses appropriately.
