Don’t Fuss About Sleep
While most kids have very strict bedtime routines and schedules, it’s not worth fussing about them during a trip. At home, it’s easy to tuck them into bed and continue watching your Netflix show, but when you’re traveling, you likely want to be out and about.
Instead of worrying about arranging a sitter in a foreign country or being confined to a hotel room for most evenings, consider letting go of the sleeping schedule for a bit and allowing your kids to experience their vacation as well. They will likely fall asleep when tired, which can make the trip more enjoyable for everyone.
