Adorable Pets Rocking Their Halloween Costumes

October 6, 2010 by Molly Reynolds

People get so excited about Halloween (some people say it’s the best holiday), that they want to share this excitement with their four-legged friends and include them in the festivities. You’d be surprised to see how many pet costumes ideas are out there, and how creative people get when it comes to Halloween. In our days, the options are endless, and there’s no reason why we couldn’t share our favorite holiday with our best friends. In case you are looking for a pet costume, just make sure your furry friends are on board and feel comfortable in their costume – and you’re good to go!

Hot dog

This costume is simple, yet clever. Dachshunds look a lot like hotdogs as it is, so putting one inside a bun seems so obvious, yet it seems as if no one has done it before. Its simplicity is what makes this costume so good. The splash of ketchup is like the cherry on top of this costume (quite literally) and it’s what turns it from good to great.

When we see a sweet baby or an adorable dog, we say that we could put them in a bun and eat them. In this case, it seems as if someone has taken this harmless statement of affection to the next level. We can’t really blame them – this dog looks too much like a hot dog to waste a good costume like this one.
