Adorable Pets Rocking Their Halloween Costumes

In case you aren’t familiar with Chia pets – these are terracotta figurines that come in different shapes and sizes, used to sprout chia. You apply the chia seeds on the ceramic figurine (shaped like an animal) and the seeds that grow resemble the animal’s fur or body. You can have a chia dog, porcupine, alligator and even a chia Yoda.

For Halloween, this dog was dressed as a Chia dog. In the past years, as part of our endless search after “superfoods,” chia seeds have become more and more popular, thanks to their many nutritious values. As such, they are even considered a “superfood” (in case you were wondering why you should grow them). This might be a real dog, and not a figurine, but he looks just like a Chia Pet.
