51. Jerry Seinfeld
Jerry Seinfeld achieved moderate success as a stand-up comedian early in his career, but it wasn’t until the premiere of the television series Seinfeld that he became a well-known personality. With the help of fellow comedian Larry David, Seinfeld created one of the most well-written sitcoms in television history, despite the fact that the series was “a show about nothing.”
Seinfeld ran for nine seasons, with the final episode of the show shattering all previous ratings records for a television show. Since then, Larry David, the co-writer of Seinfeld, has created a comedy based on a similar concept called Curb Your Enthusiasm, in which Jerry appears as himself on several occasions.
