You Can Now Call Her ‘Doctor’ Celine Dion
Celine has stars on both the Hollywood and Canadian Walk of Fame, and has won many awards throughout her illustrious career, but perhaps none more impressive than the won awarded to her from her home province – The National Order of Quebec.
Celine also received an honorary doctorate from Laval University, which she called a “very great honor for a little girl from Charlemagne.” Having never graduated from high school, the award was a big deal, and Celine dedicated it to Rene.
