Brass bathroom fixtures
Brass is a naturally antimicrobial alloy. A few minutes of making contact with brass will leave many kinds of bacteria dead in their tracks. That’s probably why manufacturers used brass to make bathroom fixtures in the first place. And if you want our opinion on the matter, that totally makes sense.
However, they do look old-fashioned, to say the least. Also, when brass gets tarnished, it takes on a dull look that really ruins the cleanliness vibe you’re hoping to achieve in your bathroom. Then again, you could always descale the fixtures with a bit of lemon and baking soda.
