Refashion Old Jeans
When you have children, you will constantly need to purchase new clothing (unless you are the younger sibling, in which case, hello, hand-me-downs!) because they outgrow them in such a short amount of time. Consider a fun do-it-yourself project to make something cute for the summer out of your old, worn-out jeans rather than going out and buying everything brand new.
Find a pair of jeans that they no longer wear or like and then cut them to the desired length. You can use the jeans for other purposes as well. The following step, which is also known as the “fun part,” involves taking patterned clothes and sewing them into the hems. It is entertaining and just what you need for hot days. Additionally, the children get to select the colors and designs that they prefer, which increases the likelihood that they will keep wearing it for a longer period of time (hopefully).
