45 Design Choices That Are Basically Uncleanable

Okay, we get that libraries or bookshelves don’t necessarily need to be convenient. Once you’ve read all the books, they often serve as decoration. Still, book shelves and books gather a lot of dust, and you want to be able to clean them from time to time, right?

This tree-shaped bookcase is very cute, but it doesn’t seem very practical. Those nooks and crannies would be much harder to clean than normal, straight shelves. Also, it’s a little hard to read the titles of the books when they’re leaning on the side. We give this design 5 out of 10 stars.
