#19: Running on Empty
This piece of advice might make you roll your eyes. A lot of us have been broke while driving. You don’t have enough money to fill the tank, but you have to get to work. What to do? Scrounging up a few dollars every few days to add gas to the tank is a struggle that’s too real.
This advice may seem impossible, but with a little budgeting, it can happen. Running your car continuously low on gas can be bad for the engine. It can ruin your fuel pump and end up requiring an expensive repair in the future. Spending money upfront to fill your tank will pay off in the long run.
