#21: Welcome to Adulthood
We really take our parents for granted. When we move out on our own, we finally learn why they were always telling us to clean our rooms. We also appreciate all of the hard work that goes into maintaining a clean and organized home. This person’s advice may hold the secret to how our parents were able to run a household and not lose their minds.
Doing small chores as you go throughout your day seems extremely boring, but it’s worth the time and effort. Clean dishes as you cook and pick up your house for 10 minutes a day in order to keep things under control. Nothing is worse than lazily not doing the dishes, because then it causes you to procrastinate even more. Next thing you know, you have to spend a whole hour cleaning up your own mess!
