#31 The Little Mermaid
Despite having some of the most memorable songs since The Lion King, the story of The Little Mermaid isn’t without its flaws. Unlike its contemporaries Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, Disney can’t hide behind the change in times when they released The Little Mermaid in 1989.

Ariel is an entitled brat who stifles her voice in a painful deal with a man she has only met a single time (sound familiar?) in order to get what she wants. The Jamaican-accented lobster, though, was a hoot.
