Taking A Beating
When superstorm Harvey landed, it hit hard and showed no mercy. The floods came in hard and fast, sweeping away anything that stood in the way. Cars, trucks, telephone poles! You name, and it was swept away! Winds tore roofs off houses and trees were bent sideways.
Local residents recall feeling the very foundations of their houses shaking! Solid concrete walls were being pushed and pulled in every direction from the wind. The rain fell so hard, many people said it sounded like baseballs were being pelted at their doors and windows! But even after rain, there is always sunshine.
