#25: Negotiating is Part of the Process
Everyone can agree that buying a house is probably one of the only times most people will ever spend that much money in one go. Sure, most people take out loans and don’t actually have hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars to spend outright. However, just the feeling of letting go of all that money metaphorically can be difficult for some people.

So, even when the price is set, and you think you can’t make it go any lower, always try your hand at negotiating. Many people get so worked up trying to bid the highest amount for a house that they end up over-bidding and losing thousands of dollars when they didn’t need to.
