Yeah, But…
Midol isn’t just for women. Midol is Naproxen and it is used to relieve pain not only from menstrual cramps but also from gender-neutral conditions such as headaches, muscle aches, tendonitis, and toothaches. Having said that, I actually can, on some level, understand this guy. It’s like I don’t like to wash my body with shampoo because it makes me feel like I’m going to grow hair all over my body (beautiful, healthy, and shiny hair, like the shampoo bottle promises – Haha!).
Once I ran out of my own shampoo and I didn’t like the idea of using my kids’ shampoo that has rosemary in it, to repel lice, because it made me feel like I’ll get lice because of it. These things make no sense, but if a product reminds you of something, you can’t change that. So even though it’s silly and ludicrous to think that using Midol would make a man grow breasts, I can still understand why the guy wasn’t crazy about taking it.
