The longest-running TV program in history is ‘The Simpsons,’ which has been on the air since 1989. The show has made jabs at celebrities, many of which have come true. That’s when life imitates art, we believe.
The Simpsons had mocked the Walt Disney Company’s takeover of Fox media in a previous episode. It was formerly 20th Century Fox; now it’s 21st Century Fox. In 2018, Walt Disney acquired many of Fox’s assets. Spot on!
