I Went to Yale
It’s no secret that individuals with criminal records often face significant stigma and discrimination from employers, making it difficult to even get a foot in the door. So having a lisp would have definitely worked in this person’s favor! Who wouldn’t want to hire someone who went to Yale? Even if that someone spent a few years in “yob” (jail) before their Ivy League education.

It just goes to show that a good education can open doors, even if those doors happen to be jail cells. And who knows, maybe that time in “yale” was just what this person needed to set them on the path to success. Either way, it’s a good reminder always to put a positive spin on things. Even if that means making a pun about your time in prison during a job interview.
