Have you ever had a relapse-of-judgment moment where you said or did something without thinking it through? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. To err is human, to forgive (yourself) divine. It’s time to move past the cringy things we’ve done in the past and look ahead to greener pastures. However, some people (possibly you, too) have immortalized those moments by posting their thoughts or actions on the internet without giving it a second thought. It’s harder to forget things when it’s right there for online strangers to enjoy. A lesson on real life
There was one point in time where Pokémon Go was all the rage. That short-lived moment was between 2016 and 2017. Some people still hang onto the game for one reason or another, but for the most part, it’s out of our lives. And to that, we say good riddance.
In early-2017, PETA wanted the entire world to know what it thought of the mobile game. They saw it as a teachable moment for everyone to know how to treat real animals. Did they even play the game? It’s about forcing animals into tiny balls and calling them out at will to duel. So, yeah, it definitely was a teachable moment, just not exactly in line with PETA’s motto.
