Actual Corn
Interstellar is full of all sorts of amazing theoretical physics ideas that nobody in the audience has a clue about. But there’s one thing that popped into everyone’s mind during one of the film’s opening scenes. It must’ve cost the filmmakers a heck of a lot of money to run a car through a field of corn.
Well, while it did cost a lot to acquire the corn, the investment definitely paid off. You see, instead of using CGI or purchasing a specific portion of a cornfield to ruin, the film studio actually paid for the entire field. Anything that was left over was sold for a huge profit.
