#13 – Kim Chi
From drag queen to makeup extraordinaire, Kim Chi was the first Korean-American drag performer to stand in the American spotlight. She took runner-up in Season 8 of Drag Race with her anime-esque persona and has used her fame to launch a makeup line with NYX, Kim Chi Chic, while touting brands like Starbucks.

She’s had several invites to universities to discuss Korean heritage and gender identity, most notably Arizona State University, where she performed as part of their Asian Heritage and Pride Week. She also collaborated with fellow drag artists on Werk the World and returned for the Holi-slay Spectacular.
