With a BFA in Music Theater, Trixie Mattel was bound to make waves with her signature overly contoured face and blond wigs reminiscent of a 1970’s country singer. After her performance fell flat, landing her in sixth place in Season 7 of Drag Race in 2015, she went on to snag the crown in season three of spinoff Drag Race: All Stars in 2018.

Not one to sit around and wait for that second chance, she launched a successful music career in 2017 placing several country songs on Billboard charts for the next three years and a lucrative comedy career that still tours today.
