Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush
Although they are practically unrecognisable these days, the now 46-year-old identical twins were formerly highly prominent on TV during the 1970s. They are best recognised for their portrayal of Carrie Ingalls in the television series ‘Little House on the Prairie.’ Most people wouldn’t even know that Carrie was played by a set of twins, because in the opening credits, it says Lindsay Sidney Greenbush.
The two actresses initially collaborated on the television drama “Sunshine” before landing the role of Carrie Ingalls in Little House on the Prairie. Several advertisements for Doublemint Gum, KFC, and Mattel Toys followed their appearance on ‘Little House on the Prairie.’ They made the decision to put their acting career on wait for their own sake, so that they could concentrate on their studies and enjoy their childhood instead. It should come as no surprise that they began performing at such a young age, given that they come from a family of actors. In addition, father Billy “Green” Bush and brother Clay have been in a number of films and television series.
