Brushing Up
Old, used-up brushes with misshapen bristles aren’t one of the first items you’d think about upcycling into home decor. We chuck them in the trash and forget about them. Where most of us would see garbage, ddimowa sees a miniature farm town with wheat fields that tower over the buildings.
While those of us who aren’t as creatively inclined loathed piecing together dioramas in our school days, ddimowa probably took home first place every time and enjoyed every minute of it, which is why they’re still constructing sleepy tiny towns out of driftwood and vintage pieces that have made their way to art galleries.
