When DNA Test Results Expose Shocking Family Secrets

Elliana was an adopted child from China who was diagnosed with a rare brain disorder. When the Maneages brough Elliana home, they shared her story with the Galbierz, a family they knew from Church who also adopted a daughter from China named Kinley. Kinley had also been diagnosed with a brain disorder, similar to Elliana’s. 

The Maneages and the Galbierz had sent their adopted daughter for DNA testing. When they compared results, they learned that Eliana and Kinley shared 99.9 percent DNA. The two adopted daughter from China turned out to be sisters. Thankfully the families were already so close with each other; the two sisters were able to grow up together.
