Oopsie-daisy!
Obi-Wan had Obi-One job to do. With his dying breath in Episode I, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan’s mentor, tasked him with teaching young Anakin the ways of the Jedi. This is a simple enough task, but little did anybody know, Anakin was a ticking time bomb. He would go on to slay all of the younglings just two episodes later in Revenge of the Sith.
So, what do you say when that happens? Do we blame Obi-Wan for mishandling his Padawan’s training? Or is it Qui-Gon’s fault for defying the Jedi High Council? Because of this monumental blunder, George Lucas had to create nine Star Wars movies. Thanks a lot, Obi-Wan. Sincerely!
