A Cute, Pig, Right?…Right?
A word of advice: steer clear of mentioning your partner in the same sentence as any barnyard animal, whether it be horses, cows, or pigs. Talking your way out of it is a lot harder than you think, even if you desperately profess your love for the cute outdoor animals that roll around in the mud and eat slop for lunch.
If you’re in the UK or the US and pull this blunder, congrats. You just compared your wife to a delicious, greasy sausage dish. In the UK, pigs in a blanket refer to chipolata sausages with bacon rolled around the outside. In the US, Americans substitute bacon for a soft croissant. If she’s a fan of breakfast food, she might let it fly, but don’t say we didn’t warn you.
