#16: Minority Groups Are Expanding
The United States is a unique mix of cultures. The country presents an accelerated expansion of minority racial groups. In particular, Hispanic, Asian, and African American descent are constantly expanding throughout the country, so it’s no surprise that it is seen as a polarized place. However, many believe that multiracial Americans are at the forefront of socioeconomic and demographic development in the country.

It’s a fact that there are significant regional differences in the ethnic diversity of the United States. In the South is the most significant percentage of Black Americans, while the largest Hispanic population in the country is in New Mexico. Despite the country being very divided nowadays, as racial diversity increases and social stigmas against interracial marriage disappear, we can expect that the distribution of where the different races are will decrease in the coming decades.
