When it comes to treating others how you want to be treated, people aren’t always so good at that… Sure, it is the just and right thing to do, but many people can’t always see past their prejudices. Undoubtedly, it is taking time for people to become more tolerant of each other, but one day we will get there.

It probably won’t come as a shock to many people that many of the states listed in red are places that still struggle with racism and prejudice. While many states are listed in red, there are also many colored in blue, meaning “much less racism than average,” which is definitely something to take note of. However, we still have a lot of work to do as a society.
