To this day, Elvis Presley is known around the world as “The King.” Cannonballing into the conservative music scene with his African-American-influenced rock and roll, blues, and, of course, those wagging hips. He’s returning to his famous home in Memphis, Tennessee, in his car.
Unfortunately, The Rock n’ Roll Phenomenon, who lived a life filled with women swooning over him, became an alcoholic and a drug abuser during his years of success. He died in his beloved house on August 16, 1977, as a result of a heart attack.
