Once we reach this area of the list, we are no longer looking at the most inadequate schools; however, there is still much to be done in Indiana regarding educational development. Early childhood education is one area where the state needs considerable improvement.
The National Institute for Early Education Research has determined that Indiana has the least effective early education system in the entire United States. Additionally, the state provides the least amount of resources and economic assistance for access to quality pre-K education.
