11th Place – Utah
The state of Utah may have dropped from its ninth-place ranking in the previous year’s rankings, but eleventh place is still an impressive showing, especially considering the many areas in which they excel in terms of education.
In terms of educational attainment, Utah ranks 10th in the nation for the percentage of its inhabitants with a high school diploma, 3rd for the average quality of its universities, and 2nd for the percentage of adults holding an associate degree or higher. Moreover, the state has achieved impressive results in the elimination of disparities in educational attainment.
