Investing in education at a state level can have a tremendous impact on the quality of the school system, yet not all states prioritize this. Idaho, for example, is one of the least educated states due to the insufficient funding allocated to its educational system.
According to 2017 statistics from the United States Census Bureau, Idaho has been found to provide the lowest amount of funding and support for its students and to spend the least amount of money on education. The consequence of this is that The Huffington Post has ranked Idaho’s schools as the fourth worst in the nation.
