45th Place – Kentucky
In comparison to other states, Kentucky has a relatively small gap in educational attainment between different segments of the population, such as men and women or black and white adults over 25 years of age. Despite sitting near the bottom of the list in terms of overall education, this is something that the state can be proud of.
That may be a bit of an optimistic viewpoint. The reality is that the educational level of the citizens of the state is relatively low overall. However, there is still some hope for improvement in the future.
