This octopus sculpture, created by Brian Mock, was made from all recycled parts! It looks like a combination of tools: screws, bolts, nails, and others! Those bolts look exactly like an octopus’ sucker. This is a really beautiful piece, but it is absolutely not my style as far as furniture goes. Although, I think it’s the most well-crafted piece of assembly art I’ve ever seen!

Assembly art seems to be having a moment right now. I know I can’t seem to stop running into it. St. Petersburg has more than a couple of fantastic, eco-friendly artists that love to recycle unwanted materials and turn them into art, which makes every piece one-of-a-kind.
