Have You Gone Bananas?
When we go to the zoo, we watch all of the animals, oohing and aahing at how cute they are. Some revel in the fact that as big, smart humans, they’d never be dumb enough to wind up in a cage on display, but if they look closely, they’ll notice our favorite banana-munching monkeys know something we don’t.
The better way to eat a banana is to mimic our monkey friends by pinching off the end and removing the peel from the bottom to the top. The bottom-up method allows for easier peeling and gives us a solid handle for holding onto the fruit. Maybe monkeys aren’t so dumb after all.
