People Who Were Caught Twisting the Truth on the Internet

Help, I’m being robbed! I need to let the world know that I’m in trouble before calling 911! Also, I can’t get to my phone because the robbers are in my living room, and it’s also the 1980s where I don’t have a cell phone! And, to make matters worse, social media shows that I uploaded my post via a mobile device.

There are so many levels to this lie that we’re amazed people even took time out of their day to respond. However, seeing as how everything is on social media, we wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the original poster actually needed to alert his followers before the police of what was going on in his home.
