This Artist Reimagines Celebrities as Disney Characters, and It’s Spot-On

Some Disney villains haven’t really done anything evil per se, but Mother Gothel’s kidnapping and indoctrination of Rapunzel is a wicked act if we’ve ever seen one. She has no shame and uses every means within her power to control Rapunzel so that she can remain young-looking.

Here, Salma Hayek’s wavy hair really reminds us of Mother Gothel, and we start to get a feel for what a Tangled reinterpretation might look like. Hayek seems to have a motherly disposition, but we could see some strictness that would translate well to Mother Gothel.
