Things You Should Avoid Buying from Dollar Stores

November 29, 2015 by Veronica Phillips

Dollar stores are gaining popularity because they have a wide range of products at very low prices. Why would we overpay for something at a regular supermarket when we can get it somewhere else for less? It turns out that not everything is a bargain at dollar stores. Some products come in small packages, and some of them have major quality issues. These are the products that you should avoid buying there.

Hair products

You should be careful what you put on your head. It will come into contact with your scalp and your skin when you rinse it away. A one-dollar shampoo sure looks like a bargain, but what’s it made from? Two things are important when choosing a shampoo: your hair type and the ingredients.

If a shampoo makes your hair look awful, you shouldn’t use it, no matter how cheap it is. It’s better to spend some additional money on a hair product that passed extensive tests and is approved by experts.
